Rootagen™

"A Mycorrhizal Biofertilizer"

Constituents

Why should we use Rootagen™?

Soil health is deteriorating rapidly due to inadequate agricultural management practices, including excessive tillage, the improper application of chemical fertilisers and pesticides, and climate change. In what ways does Regen’s Rootagen™ contribute to the restoration and enhancement of soil health while increasing farmers’ income? Rootagen™, our product made from arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus (AMF), helps plants improve the soil’s chemical, physical, and biological qualities, which leads to a healthier ecosystem. Diverse biotic and abiotic stressors adversely impact plant growth and output. Rootagen™ demonstrated the ability to boost plants’ resilience to diverse conditions, including drought, salt, higher temperatures, and heavy metals. Our greenhouses and open field investigations validated numerous advantageous impacts of Rootagen™ on soil carbon sequestration, nutrient composition, microbial activity, and soil structure. Rootagen™ positively influences soil by generating organic acids and glomalin, which protect against erosion, chelate heavy metals, enhance carbon sequestration, and stabilise soil macroaggregation. Rootagen™ creates ideal conditions for several microorganisms that synthesise alkaline phosphatase, an enzyme involved in soil mineralisation and the availability of organic phosphorus. Furthermore, Rootagen™ affects the makeup, diversity, and activity of soil microbial communities via antagonistic or cooperative pathways. All Rootagen™ actions enhance soil health, animal health, and environmental health, while simultaneously increasing farmers’ income through increased crop productivity and food quality, alongside sustainability. Finally, Rootagen enhances soil biomass and facilitates the conversion of unproductive land into productive land.

Application method and dosages:

  • Soil Application—mix 1.0 kg of Rootagen with 10 bags of BioMitra manure per acre, and subsequently distribute the mixture across the field either prior to sowing or within 45 days post-sowing in an established crop. Subsequently, irrigate the field.
  • Drip Irrigation—apply 1.0 kg of Rootagen per acre per application; apply via drenching or dripping onto moist soil, and repeat the treatment after 30 days for best efficacy.
During the crop cycle, it is recommended to apply 3–5 kg of Rootagen per acre to attain optimal results.
