Strach widely used for sugar containing crops like sugarcane, sweet sorghum, sweet corn etc. It produces growth promoting substances as IAA and GA that promote root proliferation and increase the number of rootlets, resulting in uptake of mineral, phosphate and water which promote cane growth and sugar recovery in the cane.

Method of application and dosage:

  • Seed Treatment –for 1 acre of seed, mix 250 ml of Strach in 1–5 L of water. shade-dry for 1 hour before sowing the treated seed.

  • Drip irrigation –1-2L of Aceto-Zyme/ acre per application, apply by drenching/drip on wet soil and repeat the treatment after 30 days for the effective result.
